Dark, inky red in color. Aromas of caramel apples and roasted plums. Darker, brambly fruits dominate the pallet.  Blackberries, apricot preserves and subtle sage flavors are present through the finish, which is zingy with fruit and  herbs, in contrast to the heavier aromas. Broad across the pallet with medium weight. This wine has a hint of vanilla in the finish.
