We first introduced the ExS Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, “The Guardian”, with the 2007 vintage, and we are pleased to offer this cherished wine once again! The philosophy behind “The Guardian” is to make a wine exclusively from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Napa Valley that is delicious and full-bodied with great richness, intensity and purity of flavor. The Guardian is meant to be approachable when young with the potential to age for decades.

The 2018 ExS The Guardian is dark maroon in color. Aromas of black fruit with a touch of cigar box lead to roasted coffee beans, cocoa, and blackberry on the palate. A rich mouthfeel with rosewood, mulberry, and dark chocolate persistent in the mid-palate. Perfect to enjoy on it’s own and a delight to pair with hearty fall favorites.
